If you are starting your holidays, why not toast the occasion with a glass of our Teresa Rizzi sparkling roséItalian (11.5% ABV) or a cheeky Aperol spritz, served with Aperol and Prosecco, a dash of soda and an orange wedge?
All of our pubs offer a great range of food, including paninis and bagels, pastas and salads, our fantastic selection of 100 per cent British Aberdeen Angus farm-assured beef burgers, as well as our pub classic favourites, including bangers and mash, lamb shank and British beef & Doom Bar® ale pie.
Look out for our range of brand-new dishes, exclusive to our airport pubs, including some new and improved pub classics, as well as a fabulous range of new sumptuous summer salads.
Among the pub classics are sweet-chilli-&-soy-topped cod loin, served with char-grilled asparagus, British baked potato, salad and buttermilk ranch dressing.
Also, our vegetarian and vegan option Mangalorean roasted cauliflower & spinach curry is made with a south Indian tangy creamed coconut sauce, roasted cauliflower, potato, spinach and red peppers – finished with fenugreek leaves, naan bread and pilau rice.
Whether you are seeking a holiday celebration drink, a quick snack, hot drink or full meal option, Wetherspoon’s pubs at the airport have something for everyone.
Don’t forget, if you are dashing for a plane, that our food and hot drinks are also available to take away.
At Gatwick Airport, there is a choice of three pubs, including our newly refurbished South Terminal pub (after security).
The Flying Horse, After Security, South Terminal, Gatwick Airport
The Flying Horse, having first opened in May 2008, has now been rebuilt and extended, creating a brand-new larger pub. It has a fully open kitchen and feature cellar, so you can see what goes on behind the scenes.
Also at Gatwick, The Beehive can be found in the South Terminal (before security), while over in the North Terminal be sure to visit The Red Lion (after security), in the international departures lounge.
Heathrow’s Terminal 5 offers two pubs, both situated after security: The Crown Rivers (in the main terminal) and Wetherspoons (a smaller satellite outlet). Over in Terminal 2, The Flying Chariot is located before security, so be sure to pop in.
